Chloe Fineman tries her best to provide sex advice in the trailer for Hulu‘s comedy feature Summer of 69.
Jillian Bell co-wrote and directed the movie that begins streaming May 9. Rounding out the cast are Sam Morelos, Matt Cornett, Charlie Day, Natalie Morales, Nicole Byer, Liza Koshy, Alex Moffat and Paula Pell.
Summer of 69 centers on Abby (Morelos), an awkward high school senior seeking guidance from an exotic dancer (Fineman) in her efforts to seduce her crush prior to graduation.
“Every person on earth was more sexually experienced than me — and then everything changed,” Morelos says in the trailer. “I found my sexual fairy godmother in a strip club.”
Later in the footage, Morelos declares, “I am a sex machine.” This leads Fineman to respond, “Yes, bitch! There she is.”
Bell makes her feature directorial debut from a script she co-wrote with Liz Nico and Jules Byrne. Producers include Bell, Jeremy Garelick, Will Phelps, Molle DeBartolo, Breanna Bell-Singer, Matt Skiena, Adam Goodman and Lucas Carter.
Summer of 69 premiered last month at the South by Southwest Film and TV Festival.
Bell is known for her roles in such features as Kinda Pregnant, Candy Cane Lane, Murder Mystery 2, Brittany Runs a Marathon and 22 Jump Street.
Fineman is a castmember on Saturday Night Live who appeared in such features as Megalopolis and Babylon and had a voice role in Despicable Me 4. She can be seen alongside Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis in this summer’s Disney sequel Freakier Friday.
