In short, the T3 Aire IQ didn’t disappoint. This isn’t just another hair dryer — I found that its smart upgrades actually made a noticeable difference in my routine. It’s a game-changer for healthier, faster drying without the guesswork. And the best part? It’s super quiet, offering powerful performance without all the noise.

When you first set up the T3 AireIQ, the display guides you through a few quick selections, starting with your preferred language and hair type (choose from fine, medium or coarse). Once selected, the dryer remembers your settings permanently, almost like muscle memory for your morning routine. But if your hair changes (hello, postpartum texture shifts or color-treated strands), you can easily update your profile using the dial.

After that, you’ll be prompted to attach one of the three included styling tools. Each one is designed with a specific goal in mind:

Quick Dry – Great for fast, even drying when you’re short on time.
Style Concentrator – Ideal for creating smooth, polished styles with a round or paddle brush.
Diffuser – Best for defining natural texture, adding volume, and minimizing frizz (especially for curls and waves).

Once the attachment is connected, the Aire IQ uses both your hair type and attachment choice to create a personalized HeatID — a smart combo of heat and airflow tailored to your needs. You’ll see the heat and power settings display automatically within seconds. You can also use the dryer without any attachment and adjust the settings manually to suit your needs.

Once you’re finished, the Quick Dry and Style attachments securely snap to the back of the base, while the hairdryer itself rests on top. The base is one of my favorite features: it adds a sleek, elegant touch to my vanity without crowding the space. It’s too beautiful to hide away under the sink.

While the Aire IQ offers precision drying with smart heat control, it doesn’t have the same styling versatility as the Aire 360. If you’re looking for a round brush-style blowout with volume and that polished, salon-style finish, the Aire 360 might be more up your alley. While the AireIQ is all about efficient drying with a smart, tailored approach, the Aire 360 is perfect for adding volume, smoothness and shine with its round brush design and multiple heat settings.
