How to Watch ‘Adults’ Online for Free Without Cable: Stream FX on Hulu

FX’s newest original series, Adults, follows a group of five 20-somethings living together in Queens. The comedy stars Malik Elassal, Lucy Freyer, Jack Innanen, Amita Rao and Owen Thiele, a cast who The Hollywood Reporter‘s TV Critic Angie Han describes as having “incredible chemistry.” (Read full Adults review here.)

Adults‘ two-episode premiere airs on Wednesday, May 28, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on FX, meaning cord-cutters can watch on any live TV streaming service that carries the channel, including Fubo, DirecTV, Hulu + Live TV and Sling. The remaining six episodes in season one will air weekly on Wednesdays during the same time slot. For binge-watchers, the entire eight-episode season gets its streaming release on Hulu on Thursday, May 29.

Hulu + Live TV

Three-day free trial; packages from $82.99 per month

Watch Adults‘ two-part premiere for free on FX with a three-day trial to Hulu + Live TV, which comes bundled with Disney+ and ESPN+, starting at $82.99 per month.

Sling

Packages from $23 for the first month

New subscribers to Sling’s Blue plan can stream FX at a discount, as the live TV streaming service is currently half off for the first month. This means new customers can watch Adults and everything else the Sling Blue plan has to offer for $25.50 for the first month and $50.99 monthly thereafter.

Finally, for those who’d rather binge the full series in one go, all eight episodes will be streaming on Hulu beginning May 29, 2025. Since Hulu offers a 30-day free trial, new and eligible returning subscribers can watch for free.
